Blobade

What Is Blobade About?

Blobade is a fast-paced multiplayer game where players control a small blob and compete against other fighters in a dangerous arena. You begin with limited strength and must collect food-filled chests and other resources to increase your level, size, health, and score. As your blob becomes stronger, you can start challenging opponents and collecting their rewards.

The arena does not stay safe forever. Its playable area gradually shrinks, forcing surviving players closer together and making encounters increasingly difficult to avoid. This gives every match a changing rhythm: gather resources early, choose fights carefully, and prepare for more intense battles later.

Surviving the Closing Arena

Positioning becomes increasingly important as the safe area gets smaller. A player who spends too long near the edge can quickly lose valuable space, while moving toward a favorable position early can provide more options when the arena contracts.

Combat is also about choosing the right moment. A smaller opponent may be a safer target, while attacking a much larger blob can put your entire run at risk. Charged attacks can be useful for closing distance or escaping from an unfavorable situation, but committing to one without considering where you will land can leave you vulnerable.

After a defeat, available versions of Blobade provide opportunities to spend collected currency on character improvements and customization, with some versions also featuring unlockable weapons, pets, or other items.

Controls

  • Mouse: Move your blob around the arena.

FAQ

What is the goal of Blobade?

The goal is to grow your character, defeat competing players, survive the shrinking arena, and ultimately remain among the last fighters standing.

Should beginners attack other players immediately?

Not necessarily. Collecting resources first can help you build strength before taking on more dangerous opponents.

Why does the arena shrink?

The shrinking play area gradually brings surviving players closer together, increasing the pressure and making encounters more frequent as the match progresses.
